Caged Like an Animal For Men’s Amusement

I am a boy

Or am I a man

I have forgotten how long it has been

I have been in this cage for too long

Ever wondering the never ending borders

I have walked many miles

I may be tired

But I keep on going

Walking in this cage of the past

I feel like an animal

One that has been put in a cage to be laughed at

The amusement of humanity is horrifying

But yet I laugh at the same thing

As long as it's not me
